During the curtain raiser event in Delhi, the Minister highlighted that the theme emphasizes Ayurveda's potential to contribute to the global health system through innovative practices and solutions. Ayurveda Day is observed annually on the auspicious occasion of Dhanwantari Jayanti (Dhanteras). Since its inception in 2016, Ayurveda Day has been celebrated every year, reflecting India's commitment to promoting Ayurveda as a vital component of the holistic healthcare system, as well as its significance in India's traditional medicine system and overall healthcare culture.
